Wednesday: Themed Trivia: The Office
Attention: There is a meeting in the conference room. Think you know The Office? Grab your co-workers, friends, and awkward boss and see if you have what it takes! Join us at Reserve Artisan Ales on Wednesday, August 28th from 6-9 pm to play. No worries. We didn’t drop the chili. Cups of Chili available for purchase. 1st, 2nd, 3rd prizes. Free to play. 4-6 players per team preferred.
Thursday: Purses to Inspire Auction
Join us for this fun evening with shopping, food, spirits and more! Thursday, August 29th from 4-7 pm at Discovery Depot, shop, eat, and unwind at this adult-only event. All proceeds support the mission and programs of Discovery Depot. All types of purses will be for sale, including designer, casual, formal, and something for your little one! $30 ticket includes food and drinks, advance ticket deadline is Wednesday, August 28th at 11:59 pm. Friday: Clay Floral Plate
Learn from a pro the fun technique of sgraffito! We’ll be making our own plates from scratch, then literally scratching in our design. Experience the art of clay making, scratching, and painting on Friday, August 30th from 6-8 pm at Art Defined! Plates will be painted with an underglaze the same night – choose your color! Please allow 4 weeks for drying and firing. Everything is included with $50 ticket price, which can be purchased here.
Friday: Nature at Night: Compass Nature Quest
Are you up for the challenge of navigating the dark woods, with only a compass, flashlight, and your wits as your guide? Brush up on your orienteering skills when you follow the directions on the path to discovery! Can you find the prize? Test your skills on Friday, August 30th from 7:30-9 pm at Lakeside Nature Center Shelter! Program will be held outside as weather permits, possibly with a walk through the woods, so dress accordingly. In case of bad weather, the program will be held mostly inside the Lakeside Nature Center building.$5 per person or $15 per family (register each person individually and discount will be automatically applied). Saturday: Hidden Hills Wine Run 5k
Like Running? Love Wine? This race is for you! Race Swag: All participants will receive a race t-shirt, souvenir plastic wine glass, finisher wine medal and a 5 oz. pour of wine (or soda for our under 21 runners) after the race! Awards: All participants will receive a finisher wine medal. This is not a competitive race but it will be a blast for all the participants!
