A Galesburg pharmacy has reopened after a temporary closure earlier this week.
The Walgreen’s pharmacy at 1057 E. Main St. was closed Thursday, with a sign on the door and in front of the pharmacy that read, “Our pharmacy will be CLOSED October 3-8. We apologize for the inconvenience.”
In a statement to WGIL, Samantha Stansberry, a media relations manager for Walgreen’s, said, “Location 7216 in Galesburg was temporarily closed yesterday. They have reopened today and are operating at standard hours – ready to serve the community.”
The temporary closure signs were removed Friday morning.
Walgreen’s did not provide a reason for Thursday’s closure.
The Walgreen’s at 1057 E. Main St. is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and closed on weekends.
