The Galesburg Silver Streaks girls basketball team win their first game of the Coles County Holiday Tournament. They defeat the Danville Vikings, 64-14. The Streaks had a balanced attack that saw 12 Streaks score. They also had a great defensive output holding Danville scoreless for over thirteen minutes.
The Streaks improve their impressive season to 12-1.
Sophia Kisler came off the bench and contributed heavily to the Streaks play. She gave a spark to the Streaks both offensively and defensively. On the offense, she was tied for leader in points with 8. On defense, she helped keep Danville at bay during their scoreless streak. As a result of her efforts, she was named Dave's Auto Body Crunch Time Player of the Game.
