Man wanted for Denver murder arrested in Galesburg

A man wanted for first degree murder charges in Denver was arrested Monday afternoon in Galesburg.

At approximately 4:16 p.m. Monday, the Galesburg Police Department received information that London Boyle, 23, had an arrest warrant for homicide out of Denver, Colorado, and was at 1893 Grand Ave. in Galesburg. GPD located Boyle at that address and placed him under arrest for the homicide warrant out of Denver.

Boyle was wanted on suspicion of first-degree murder for a deadly shooting that took place on Nov. 5, in Denver.

The Galesburg Police Department is assisting the Denver Police Department with an ongoing investigation.
