From Prairie Players to Hollywood: Galesburg’s Dieterich Gray loses home in California fire

Just because the California wildfires are no longer claiming the top national headlines doesn’t mean the impact of the disaster isn’t still being felt by local residents.

Among those affected is former Galesburg resident Dieterich Gray, who has been living and working in Los Angeles in the TV and film industry for many years.

Unfortunately, Dieterich and his partner Anna lost their Altadena, California, home during the Eaton Fire. Dieterich joined WGIL's Jay Redfern and Tyler Gumm on Galesburg's Morning News to talk about what it's like to lose all of your possessions. He also shared the latest on his successful acting career.

If the name Dieterich Gray isn’t familiar, the face certainly is. You might have seen him in on TV (The Mandalorian, American Horror Story, General Hospital and Criminal Minds...) and in film and in numerous commercials.
