The Galesburg Silver Streaks boys basketball team fell to the Sterling Warriors at the Taylorville Holiday Tournament, 68-48. The Streaks got an early preview of their Western Big 6 opponent whom theywill play again next week. It was a rough day for the Streaks in the tournament as they played a borderline state-ranked team in Sterling; however, the Streaks did go away with some positives as they held their own throughout most of the game despite a short roster. The Streaks are now 4-11 on the season and 0-1 in the Western Big 6.
Sophomore Jaxon Wyatt was named the Dave's Auto Body Crunch-Time Player of the Game for his performance throughout the game. He finished with 10 points, 4 assists, and 4 rebounds.
