Following a tough loss to Alleman Thursday night, the Galesburg girls basketball team turned it around with a win over the LaSalle-Peru Cavaliers on Saturday, 59 - 32, at John Thiel Gym. Galesburg led LaSalle-Peru by double-digits at the end of each quarter, including out-scoring them 14-1 in the 4th quarter. The Silver Streaks are now 18-2 on the season.

Once again, Kiarra Kilgore led the Streaks in scoring with 20 points, along with 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals. Alexis Edgerson scored 11 points and had a rebound. Antonia Kisler ended up with 5 points, all in the 4th quarter, along with 8 rebounds and 2 assists. Off the bench, Jozalyn Kilgore scored 7-points and Cora Johnson scored 5 points. The Silver Streaks made 5 three-pointers, they were 8 of 15 from the free throw liner, and had 12 turnovers in the game, while the Cavaliers had 23 turnovers.

For her 3-point shots in the 1st half that sparked the Silver Streaks, Alexis Edgerson was named the Dave's Auto Body Crunch-Time Player of the Game.
