Here's another thing to do in Galesburg that won't cost you anything, or will cost you very little. The Galesburg Great Balloon Race runs Friday night through Sunday morning at Lake Storey Park.
More than two dozen hot-air balloonists will take flight in competition, then let you get up close and personal with them. That's in addition to food and other activities for children.
