GHS Girls Win Big in First Game of Saturday Double-Header

The Galesburg Silver Streaks girls basketball team win their first game of a Saturday (11/25) double-header over the Manual Rams in the Thanksgiving Shootout, 57-22. The Streaks took an early lead and never looked back resulting in a running clock for the duration of the fourth quarter. The Streaks improve their record to 4-0 on the season.

Senior Kiarra Kilgore was named the Dave's Auto Body  Crunch-Time Player of the Game after another stellar performance from her this season. She ended with 21 points and added 7 rebounds.

The GHS Girls will return to action later tonight (11/25) to take on the Limestone Rockets. Tom Meredith and Erik Gibson will bring you live coverage starting with the pregame at 5;40pm on 93.7 FM & 1400 AM, WGIL.
