OSF HealthCare has added Dr. Amro Elsharoud as new primary care physician to serve Galesburg and surrounding areas.

On this episode of Galesburg Live, WGIL's Chris Postin talks to Dr. Elsharoud about how he will ensure increased access for patients in need of family medicine and obstetrical care at OSF Medical Group in Galesburg, and OSF Medical Group – Obstetrics & Gynecology in Galesburg.

Dr. Elsharoud offers several services including family medical services, pediatrics, and obstetrical care. He is passionate about women’s health, adolescent health, academia, and education.

He received his medical degree from Mansoura University Faculty of Medicine. He completed his family medicine program at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Family Medicine.
