REPLAY: Galesburg Silver Streaks football vs Quincy

In a rare Thursday night game in the Western Big 6, the Galesburg Silver Streaks football team faced an undefeated Quincy Blue Devils team that is currently ranked 5th in the state in Class 7A. The Blue Devils scored first less than halfway through the first quarter and never looked back. They went on to win 45 - 0. The Streaks fall to 1 - 5 on the season.

Since there really wasn't a crunch time in the game, the Dave's Auto Body Crunch Time Player of the Game was awarded to Caden Riley for solid execution overall during the game, instead of just one particular moment. The junior quarterback was 11 of 18 passing with no turnovers and signs of continued improvement leading the offense.

Next up for the Silver Streaks is a road trip to Rock Island next Friday (10/11), still in the hunt for their first conference win of the season.
