The Galesburg Silver Streaks girls basketball team finished their Friday slate of games in the Coles County Holiday Tournament with two victories. The Streaks defeated Sullivan, 60-31, in a battle of 12-win teams. While the Streaks were battle tested early, they pulled away with a double digit lead at halftime and increased it steadily throughout the match. The Streaks improve to 2-0 in the tournament and 13-1 overall.

The Streaks were led in scoring by both Zaniyah Carter and Ella Herchenroder with 11. Ella's sisters Grace and Taylor Herchenroder also had good nights with 10 and 9 points respectively.

Ella Hercehnroder was named the Dave's Auto Body Crunch Time Player of the Game. Her 11 points all came in the second half as she made some crucial threes to keep the Galesburg lead in hand.
