The fall harvest of corn and soybeans, among other crops, is officially underway in this region.  Farmers are said to be seeing some good numbers in terms of bushels per acre that are being harvest.

But, with the good comes the bad, as there have been concerns about insects in the crop, diseases, and relatively low prices.

Lance Tarchione, Technical Agronomist for Dekalb and Asgrow as well as host of WGIL's "Ag Talk" Saturday mornings, talks about it all with Will Stevenson on Galesburg's Morning News.
