NAACP Galesburg Branch 3016 is hosting an Alzheimer’s Awareness event on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 180 Soangetaha Rd, Galesburg IL. for 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. This event will be highlighting 10 warning signs, the early signs of the disease include forgetting recent events or conversations. Over time, it progresses to serious memory problems and loss of the ability to perform everyday tasks.
We will have the Alzheimer’s Association and families speaking about how this disease, changed their life. We will have healthcare exhibitors’ tables.
