DEA Take Back Day for unneeded medications

As part of DEA Take Back Day, the Galesburg Police Department will collect unused medications from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28 in the parking lot west of the Galesburg Public Safety Building on the corner of Simmons and Cedar streets.
DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take Back Day reflects DEA’s commitment to Americans’ safety and health, encouraging the public to remove unneeded medications from their homes as a measure of preventing medication misuse and opioid addiction from ever starting.
